INTRODUCTION ... Johnny Canuck's Wartime History of Canada The Outstanding Contributions of a Young Nation in World War One and World War Two Canadian schools, not entirely through their own fault, do at best a mediocre job of telling Canada's wartime history to the country's youth. The schools, and our society as a whole, ought to give youth more of a chance to be proud of the accomplishments of Canadians in the defence of freedom. The main aim of this site is to do exactly that - to build a sense of pride through information and education. There are too many Canadians, both young and old, who don't recognize Canada's disproportionately large contributions to Allied victory in the two world wars. Why isn't the story better told?
